Mission Statement of the VETERANS' VISION Publication

The editorial content of Veterans' Vision focuses the experience and dedication of national veterans' advocates on the economic, political, social and international issues facing all Americans.

Articles and interviews of interest to veterans and non-veterans alike, written by Members of Congress and our nation's leading opinion makers, include such subjects as domestic terrorism, militias, wiretapping, the drug war, campaign finance reform, missile defense systems, fraud in the Medicare systems, homeless veterans, veterans affected by chemical and biological weapons, women in the military, waste in defense spending and international issues that could influence our quality of life in the United States.

Readers of the Veterans' Vision include all 535 Members of Congress, their staff and committee members; senior officials of the cabinet offices of the executive branch, key members of the media, active duty officers on the installations around the National Capitol area, and the Presidential appointees in all Defense Department services, in addition to senior, general/flag rank officers at the Pentagon.

Throughout the United States, readers who pick the publication up at convenience stores and out of racks are informed, mobile, activists interested in learning more about issues that affect their lives. Many letters and calls on our "800" number, as well as interviews with readers at convenience stores, indicate they are men and women, working and retired, veterans and non-veterans, who vote, who are activists in their communities and who are accustomed to expressing their opinion in a variety of ways with every opportunity.
